OUTRIGHT GIFT
A gift can be made directly to the Orange County Community Foundation to benefit any fund, or a number of funds. Gifts can be made in
the form of cash, check, credit cards, or any tangible asset. Gifts can also be made online through eGive, a not-for-profit organization
that facilitates giving.
INCOME INTEREST
A gift made to a charitable lead trust, from which the principle goes to the donor/estate and the income to a fund or funds at the
Foundation.
CHARITABLE REMAINDER TRUST
A gift of a charitable remainder trust provides principal toward fund(s) held by the Foundation, and the income goes to the donor or
estate.
BEQUEST
A gift made through a provision is a will is considered a bequest. A fund or funds managed by the Foundation receives the gift from the
donor's estate.
LIFE INSURANCE
Through ownership transfer or beneficiary designation, a fund or funds receives a gift directly from a donor's life insurance policy.
