DEBBIE TURNER
2009 FEMALE PHILANTHROPIST
From the Orange County Economic Development Committees to the creation and opening of
the Lost River Market and Deli, Debbie has been involved in providing Orange County with
quality food items and an outlet for local farmers and growers. An avid animal advocate, she is
also a volunteer with the Humane Society and serves on the Board of Directors for the Orange
County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

2009 MALE PHILANTHROPIST OF THE YEAR
Many remember Mr. Babcock as the unassuming teacher, guidance
counselor or principal at Paoli High School, or recognize his work with
Southern Hills Counseling Center or the Orange County Child Care
Co-op--but however he is remembered, it is always with respect and
appeciation of his many years of service to the people of Orange County.

2009 EMERGING PHILANTHROPIST
Christi is personally committed to her community, aiding with Kiwanis and Lions Club events,
as well as being very active with Habitat for Humanity. She currently serves as Habitat's director
for Orange County, having held a post on the Board of Directors in the past. Also active in church
and youth programs, Christi has coached soccer and mentored students, as well as supported
Boy Scout programs and volunteered as grant-writer.
