For each grant cycle and each type of grant offered, the Foundation provides a grant application. Application
periods are advertised through local media. View grant criteria to see if your organization meets current
requirements.
Grants applications must be returned by the specified deadline, and only non-profit organizations and
tax-supported entities are eligible (in compliance with IRS regulations.
A diverse grants committee meets to review applications, and may wish to make site visits or seek further
information before making decisions.
The grants committee makes selections based on needs within the county, projects and programs that will
make the biggest impact on the largest population, and other considerations.
