Current Grant Opportunities
ORLEANS COMMUNITY GRANT INITIATIVE

More than $8,600 is now available for grants to organizations that serve the
Orleans community.

The Orleans Community Grant Initiative, made possible through the generosity of
an anonymous donor, is designed to enhance the lives of people in the Orleans
community by supporting charitable activities within the Orleans community, and
is administered through the Orange County Community Foundation.

The grant program was created to serve a full range of charitable needs and
opportunities, but special focus is on the area of education. This grant initiative is
available to any qualified charitable organization which serves the needs of
residents of Orleans, including tax-supported entities such as schools, libraries,
and municipalities. No grants are made to individuals, but service organizations
with charitable status under IRS regulations are eligible to apply.
